Hi guys,

Well, Fiance woke up early on Saturday and made us bagels in bed, then said that he is driving me to AGPNY!!! Well, of course I was excited, but then I was a bit not because I had just made a big order thinking that it would be a bit longer before I would be able to get down there. But of course it was nice to go to see everything in person!

AGP was pretty busy, but there was still ample room to roam around and look, plus I like it a little full, it's so much more fun to see all the little girls with their dolls and what other people are getting.
They had lots of Marisols, hard to believe that they will sell each and every one and then some! I checked on Kirsten's Nighttime necessities and they had about 10 out and more out back, just how many, I'm not sure. All the new things were so nice to look at in person, I'm excited to get mine delivered soon! I still do not like Kit's bathing suit, it is super bright! But her lounge chair is so cute! They had the new catalog there, so I was so happy to be able to look at one. They don't put anywhere near that much in the catalogs anymore, I wish they had more of the American Girl Collections in it like they used to, maybe they should use smaller pictures so that they could fit more in.

I ended up getting Addy's Work Dress set: it is so adorable, I love how it has that Little House On the Prairie look to it, the little laundry pins are so cute, you could let the doll wear just the dress too, although the apron is the feature I love best about it. A

When I first saw the new Party Table with Cushions set online, I didn't think much of it, I thought it would be this small coffee-table like thing, well when I saw it in person I was so pleasantly surprised! It's a huge oval table! It's made of lacquered wood or chipboard, not sure of what's exactly under all that lacquer. I absolutely love it, I can picture a big spread fitting nicely on it! The cushions are this bright pink-corally color, it's lighter in color than I thought as well. Just goes to show how things look completely different in person! A+

Josefina's Cocina Supplies: yet another item I didn't think much of until now! So much fun to look at! lots of little things to play with, I don't know if the truly young should handle it though, seems quite highly detailed, and a bit delicate (vegetables). A+

Molly's Route 66 dress: re-thought this too, and noticed that the color is in fact nice and the hat is adorable and easy for Molly to wear (I find some hats hard to wear and keep on like Sam's and Nellie's) but this hat is cloth and stays put! The fabric is prone to wrinkles but a second with the steamer straightens it out nicely! This opens and closes with small buttons, may be a hazard to the especially young or hard for them to fasten. But the color looks so perfect on Molly! One of her best outfits I think! A

The beach boots: my fiance actually noticed them and said "oh my gosh! look! they have those UGG boots for the dolls!" He knew of the Uggs because I remember seeing them in Nordstroms when Uggs first came out and said "ick! I would never wear those!" But alas the doll ones are too cute to pass, and they, unlike me aren't as picky about what they wear, so I got them. On dolls they look okay, can't wait for the beach wardrobe to get here! The boots are nothing special though, just a cute mini-ized style. A-

So now I am waiting for my order to come in. I will post pics of these tomorrow, as I just got home a few hours ago and am a bit tired.
